How to launch a Beta?
A founder asked this today so sharing a step-by-step response. Please feel free to ask counter questions on this thread:
1. Identification of the group – Find out who are the 10-15 people in this group.
2. Deal & offer – Go the extra mile and give them the best rate and personalized attention but NOT FREE. Remember we also want to see if people will pay for this. Don’t worry about the exact offering you are going to give. Try and give them ALL. You will know what they use most and least. So next time you can only focus on a few things.
3. Create a user schedule – Think if you were the client of user what will you do on day 1, day 7 and day 15. Create the whole schedule. In startup terms, we call it the customer journey map.
4. Roll out the program and measure monthly with surveys/private chats or messages.
